Office Facts
Customer-signed Zero Defects letters line the walls of DPR's Fairfax office. The letters, 30 of the 98 achieved in 2006, symbolize DPR's continuous commitment to quality and to building great things for customers on the east coast since 1996 (the year we started construction on our first east coast project, a 500,000-sq.-ft. semiconductor manufacturing facility for Motorola). Located just seven miles from the nation's capital, the office continues to serve customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Targeting LEED® for Commercial Interiors, DPR's Fairfax offices features:
- Flooring constructed from cork and wheatboard counter tops at each workstation.
- Insulation made from old blue jeans (85 percent recycled content).
- Natural daylighting for 100% of regularly occupied work spaces.
- A reduced number of light fixtures, decreasing the amount of electricity used and exceeding the ASHRAE standard.
- Low emitting materials, including paints, carpet and furniture adhesives.
